ST. GEORGE – Dr. Robert Huddleston, who served for nearly 12 years as the 15th President of Dixie State College of Utah, will address the next weekly noontime “Dixie Forum: A Window on the World” convocation on Tuesday, Feb. 15, at 12 noon, in the Dunford Auditorium of the Browning Resource Center on the DSC campus. Admission is free for all community members, DSC students, and faculty and staff.

Dr. Huddleston, who served as President of DSC from 1993-to-2005, currently serves as Regent Professor of Business at DSC, a position he has held since 2006. Previous to his tenure at DSC, he was the Academic Vice-President at Gateway Community College in Phoenix, Ariz.

Huddleston holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Education from Northern Arizona University. He also received a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Colorado State University. Huddleston currently owns two businesses, one in Colorado and another in Louisiana. He was selected as the Administrator of the Year in New Mexico and was also selected as the Executive of the Year by the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Dixie Forum will continue each Tuesday through the rest of the fall semester. Upcoming guest speakers include DSC Student Support Services advisor Daneka Souberbielle, who will share her presentation on diversity entitled “The Changing Face of Diversity: Racial Construct and its Effect on Perspective” on Feb. 22nd.
