Woman charged with harassment for texting two men

ST. GEORGE – Police arrested a 29-year-old St. George woman for electronic harassment after two men asked to press charges because she allegedly would not stop texting them.

Officer Johnny Heppler said officers made contact with the female, asking her to stop contacting the two men that used to be her roommates. The female allegedly acknowledged that she would not contact them, but continued to text them anyway.

When the two male victims asked if they could press charges, St. George police officers determined the female had been arrested by Washington City police for public intoxication, Heppler said. St. George officers added the electronic message charge after she was already booked into Purgatory.
