Las Vegas man arrested in St. George for theft, burglary

ST. GEORGE – St. George police officers arrested a Las Vegas man who was allegedly pawning stolen property in St. George.
 
Capt. James Van Fleet said Las Vegas metro tipped off St. George officers that the 25-year-old male had allegedly committed burglaries in Las Vegas, and was in St. George to pawn the stolen items.
 
Officers located the man at a St. George residence after obtaining information from a local pawn shop, said Officer Johnny Heppler.
 
He was arrested and charged with several felonies, including criminal mischief, theft of a firearm and burglary. The male also had an out-of-state warrant.
