Community Peace concert to be held at DSC

ST. GEORGE – On Saturday, September 18, at 7:30 p.m., a Community Peace Concert will be
held at the outdoor amphitheater at Dixie State College. Musicians from the
college, as well as representatives from local churches and St. George choral
groups, will participate.

The Peace Concert is part of the 11 Days of Unity and Peace celebration
in Southern Utah, hosted by Unity Church of Positive Living. Dr. Robert
Briggs from the Fine Arts Dept. at Dixie College is helping to organize
the Peace Concert event this year in collaboration with Unity Church.
People of all ages and faiths will sing and make music together, including
college students, children and adults, and native American flute players.

The 11 Days of Peace culminates on Sept. 21 with an interfaith service at
7 p.m. at Unity Church, located at 198 N. 100 E.

Everyone is cordially invited to come and celebrate as "citizens of the
world" in peace and unity. Join us in creating the possibility of world
peace. Let us think Peace and act with goodwill towards one another.
