Due to continued growth, the Dixie Leavitt Agency Office in St George, UT, is seeking an Assistant Customer Service Representative for our Commercial Lines division. As a key member of our sales and support team, you’ll play an important and high profile role helping to service multiple books of business. We offer competitive compensation. The Commercial Lines Assistant CSR must obtain a UT Property & Casualty license with agency support. Our Customer Service Representatives provide essential support and coordination of appropriate levels of service and resources for our clients in our commercial business division. The Assistant CSR would help with these duties.

Assistant CSR Responsibilities include:
• Prepare certificates and evidence of insurance
• Interface with clients to explain coverages
• Request and process endorsements
• Correspond with insurance carriers
• Answering phones
• Verifying account information
• Maintain all customer information in the agency’s computer system
• Collect deposits or payments
• Prepare or arrange for billing
• Assist CSR with filing claims
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Must be willing to obtain a UT Property & Casualty license with agency assistance
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, detail oriented and able to translate big picture ideas into client objectives
• Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities and work in a team-centric environment
• Effectively interact and deal with people at all levels inside and outside of the Company
• Ability to work independently and take initiative with little direct supervision
• Ability to provide superior customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Job Type: Full-time, hours 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
Required experience: 2+ years in the insurance industry preferred, but not required
