Second Chances in Southern Utah is a residential treatment center for adolescents  between  the ages of 12 and 18. We are currently seeking direct line staff for both swing shift, and morning shifts. As a direct line  Staff you will be trained ,and expected to,  model proper relationships and process with the students about how these healthy relationships can be used to improve their lives. Staff are expected, and  trained to cultivate the appropriate safe environment that will promote  positive, lasting, change within our students. This is done through maintaining a daily  structure, following the schedules and holding students accountable to the rules. In addition to holding strong structures  staff are expected to cultivate a fun upbeat atmosphere. This is a very rewarding job in which a line staff has a direct effect on the life of a temporarily lost adolescent.   Some background in residential treatment or classes in psychology is preferred (Not required). On the job training will be provided by qualified supervisors. There are possible leadership/ management positions available for those employees interested in growing with Second Chances in Southern Utah Shifts are: MWF: 7am- 3pm or 3pm-11pm, TTHS: 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm.  Starting pay is between $9-$11 per hour DOE.
