ST. GEORGE – Coldwell Banker Premiere Realty and Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Utah have been partners for more than a dozen years in ongoing efforts to provide safe, affordable housing in Washington County.
This year’s contribution of $675 from 70+ agents brings the real estate agency’s contribution total to more than $6000 since 2003.
“Most of our agents have a longstanding agreement to donate money to Habitat from each home closing throughout the year,”Claudia Ashby, agency broker, said. “It’s an office thing. We support Habitat in a number of ways including financial donations and manpower for Habitat project. Supporting Habitat provides a way for our agents to give back to the community.”
Linda Baker, Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Utah’s executive director said:
“We very much appreciate Coldwell Banker’s support through the years. Partnerships with local businesses make a significant difference in our ability to fill the need for affordable housing options in our community. Substandard housing is a serious problem in our community but there are numerous ways for other agencies and businesses to help..”
