ST. GEORGE – A trio of local women health care professionals will speak on “Gift Yourself Health” at the Dec. 1 holiday luncheon of the St. George branch of the American Association of University Women, or AAUW.
The luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. with food served at 11:30 a.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott, 185 S. 1470 E., in St. George. Festive dress and jolly attitudes are encouraged.
The happiness in reaching out and achieving true community with others will be emphasized by Lolita Hagio, who holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing and is a vocational rehab specialist. Terri Koenig, a gerontologist/certified health and wellness coach at Dixie Regional’s LiVe Well Center, will describe the many full-life fitness services offered at the LiVe Well Center. She will conclude the luncheon by leading the audience in basic mind/ body exercises that can be easily incorporated into daily living.
