ST. GEORGE — The St. George community is cordially invited to experience live Yoga Nidra every Sunday evening at 6 p.m. at Downtown Yoga, 50 E. Tabernacle, St. George.
Guests should bring a mat, wear comfortable loose fitting clothes and be prepared for a relaxing experience. Guests will do some deep breathing techniques, gentle warm ups and lie down for a sound healing and experience with crystal signing bowls, several gongs and other healing instruments.
No previous experience necessary. Be prepared to distress as the class promotes self love, self awareness and self healing. The class sets a tone for the week ahead, so that there is no dread, but rather great expectation for a great week. All ages are welcome.
Yoga Nidra is equivalent to three hours of sleep. It is a technique to awaken the connection between body, mind and soul. The practice is like a deep sleep while still awake. This ancient practice is becoming more popular as a form of meditation and mind-body therapy and has multiple physical benefits.
Admittance is $12.
