What is cancer genomics? Luncheon talks precision medicine

ST. GEORGE Don Tarinelli, National Business Development Director, Intermountain Precision Genomics is the featured speaker for the American Association of University Women St. George Branch luncheon. The luncheon will be held Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Courtyard by Marriott, 185 S. 1470 E. in St. George.

“World Class Precision Medicine in Southern Utah” is the topic and he’ll discuss:

  • What is cancer genomics and how can it extend life for late stage cancer patients?
  • History behind Intermountain Precision Genomics and why in St. George.
  • The future of cancer care in St. George, (new building and Immuno-oncology).

The American Association of University Women St. George Branch luncheons are open to the public. All are welcome. Seating is $17 and reservations are needed by Monday, Oct.31. Reserve online.
