San Juan County authorities offer reward for info about man who allegedly assaulted officer

ST. GEORGE — Police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted an officer in San Juan County Thursday.

San Juan County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $500 dollar reward for information leading to the arrest of Charles Singer.

Singer has an active warrant out for his arrest. He has been charged with assault on a police officer stemming from an incident in Bluff Thursday in which he is alleged to have hit an officer who was trying to arrest him.

He also faces several other charges, among them failure to stop at command of law enforcement, drug possession and driving without a license.

Singer is 26 years old with birthdate March 24, 1992.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office at 435-587-2237. In order to be eligible for the $500 reward, the provided information must lead to Singer’s arrest.
