ST. GEORGE — According to the National Weather Service, this weekend’s weather for most of Southern Utah is expected to be warm for all three days with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

While there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms, a red flag warning has also been issued in Southern Utah, so officials are asking travelers and tourists to be careful and to be aware of fire restrictions. Dry thunderstorms can produce gusty winds, along with lightning potentially igniting new wildfires.
