Shawna J. Egbert, 67, passed away May 31, 2018. She was born Feb. 18, 1951, to Melvin L. Jacobsen and Frieda Naillon. She was married to Brent L. Egbert on Oct. 9, 1993, at Snydermill Lodge, Park City, Uah.
Shawna lived a well-rounded life, lived in many places in the United States and all over the world. She loved to travel and had been to many places across the globe. She loved to spend her time reading and she achieved her bachelor’s degree in business administration.
She is survived by her husband, Brent L. Egbert, who resides in their cabin in Zion Ponderosa; daughters Megan Moffitt (Las Vegas) and Katie Sims (Las Vegas); son Clayton Egbert and grandson Ethan Egbert (Las Vegas); sister Dena Johnson (Jerry Johnson); brothers Myron Jacobsen and Kent Jacobsen (Marilyn Jacobsen); and mother Frieda Stevens (Bob Stevens). She was preceded in death by her father Melvin L. Jacobsen.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for donations to be made to a cancer research of your choosing.
Funeral services
- A small memorial service will be held Friday, June 15, at 11 a.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary in St. George, Utah.
- A webcast of the service is available to those who cannot attend but wish to participate.
