ST. GEORGE — Authorities are asking for public assistance locating 33-year-old Drew Black, considered a person of interest in a homicide investigation arising out of Whiterocks.
Duchesne County Sheriff’s detectives are working with FBI agents and Bureau of Indian Affairs authorities to investigate the death of a 20-year-old woman named Sukakee Manyhides whose body was found Wednesday on a road northwest of Whiterocks, according to a news release issued by the FBI’s Salt Lake City Division.
Authorities are considering the death a homicide as Manyhides’ body was found under suspicious circumstances.
A 30-year-old woman, Zhondee Nephi, was arrested in connection with the case early Saturday morning and is currently in tribal custody.
Investigators are still looking for Black as a person of interest in the case.
Black also goes by the name Drew Cuch. Investigators said he no longer has long hair as depicted in the May 2017 bookings photo shown in this report.
The investigation is ongoing, and no other information was released at the time this report was taken.
