Mesquite Fine Arts Center has a busy schedule for you

MESQUITE, Nevada — The Virgin Valley Artists Association has put together an impressive calendar of events for the next two months and the public is invited to participate and enjoy the works by area artists.

The Nature’s Wonders competition and exhibition is currently being featured through Sept. 2, with a reception and open house Aug. 24 from 4-6 p.m. The public is invited and encouraged to attend both the exhibition and the reception.

Following the conclusion of that exhibition, the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery Invitational will be featured from Sept. 3-Sept. 30 with a reception and open house Saturday, Sept. 30 from 4-6 p.m. Again, the public is invited to this exhibition and reception.

A “Brown Bag lecture” will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at noon. Featuring Jodi McGregor, the afternoon’s topic will be “Painting.”

All events will be held at the Mesquite Fine Arts center at 15 W. Mesquite Boulevard in Mesquite, Nevada. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
