The best and brightest Christmas displays in town

OPINION You’ve probably heard of Hollywood’s map to the stars, but in the humble opinion of this writer, it doesn’t hold a candle to the “2016 St. George Utah Christmas Light Spectacular” map.

Brought to you by HedgeHog Electric, the map leads guests on a fanciful journey to some of  the best and brightest Christmas light and decoration displays in Washington County.

St. George News took a mini tour to some of the houses on the map and I was blown away by the amount of care that was taken to create such whimsical and holiday-inspired displays.

To see all of the houses for yourself, download the 2016 St. George Utah Christmas Light Spectacular map from HedgeHog Electric’s website

HedgeHog Electric’s map to the Christmas stars isn’t the only gift they are giving the community this year. For every new “like” they receive on their Facebook page, HedgeHog Electric will donate to the Dove Center of St. George.

The Dove Center is a shelter and advocacy center dedicated to providing support for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

In addition to helping a worthy cause, HedgeHog Electric also wants to give someone in the community a $300 Visa gift card. To enter, just download the map and start touring the brilliant houses. When you find your favorite, snap a photo (#selfies allowed) and post it on HedgeHog’s Facebook page or use the hashtag #StGeorgeChristmasMap.

Don’t forget to share your favorite houses with us in the comments.

Something Ive always pondered; How is it these people have the money/time to spend on Christmas lights that do nothing but bring attention to THEMSELVES but never enough to donate either to charities that help kids and families EAT on Christmas Day?

and how do you know these people do not donate to charities that assists the needy ? do you know these people personally ? or is it just jealously because they can afford to do it and you can’t ? why don’t you contact the city because they always need volunteers with community projects that help the less fortunate than you.
