Our beloved Margaret “Rose” Birkhead Gubler, 69, passed away on Nov. 1 in St. George. Margaret was an angel mother and a faithful daughter of her Father in Heaven. She will be deeply missed. She was born on May 10, 1947, in Yorkshire, England. She immigrated to the United States in November 1947 where she was a lifelong citizen and resident. She was educated in the Weber County school district and attended Weber State and Dixie State universities.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert E Gubler, who has provided her such dutiful care over recent years of failing health. She is also survived by two sons, Sean (and Autumn) and Scott; her brother Roy and sister Barbara; and her three adored grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennifer; and her parents, Fred Kellet Birkhead and Jane Wagstaffe Birkhead.
Funeral services
- A viewing will be held at the Westridge Chapel, 415 Westridge Drive, St. George, on Nov. 5 at 11 a.m., followed by a graveside service at the Tonaquint Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to attend.
