ST. GEORGE — A tour showcasing the creativity of model railroad builders is proclaiming “all aboard” for its annual open house Nov. 11 through 13.
Members of the Color Country Model Railroad Club will display their railroad layouts at homes throughout Washington County.
Each of the models is uniquely crafted, including indoor and outdoor displays at 17 different locations.
The event is an annual production by the club to show off the hard work and meticulous craftsmanship of its members.
The mini-railroad creations have unique backstories describing the story of the displays. The models are divided by type, offering a view of a variety of scales and track types.
The tour is free and open to the public. The club asks guests to look, take pictures and ask questions. They also ask guests not to touch the models and not to bring food or drink.
