Around 8:25 a.m. Monday, a white Toyota Tundra making a left turn onto 1450 South turned in front of an oncoming Ford F-150, St.George Police Officer Andy Mickelson said.

The driver of the F-150 tried to avoid the Toyota but ended up getting clipped and pushed into a third vehicle, a passenger car, whose driver was waiting at the corner of 1450 South to make a right turn onto River Road.

The driver of the passenger car, a woman, was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance to Dixie Regional Medical Center. The extent of any injuries received in the collision was unknown at the time, Mickelson said.

The passenger car and F-150 had to be towed from the scene; the Toyota Tundra was driven away. The driver of the Toyota was cited for not yielding on a left turn, Mickelson said.

The St. George Fire Department also responded to the scene.

This report is based on preliminary information provided by law enforcement or other emergency responders and may not contain the full scope of findings.
