CEDAR CITY — The Cedar City Women in Business’ 16th annual “Pumpkin Festival” is scheduled for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Diamond Z Arena in Cedar City. This year’s festival is sponsored by the Cedar View Pediatric Dentistry, and proceeds will go toward the Women in Business scholarship fund.
Organizers have said the Pumpkin Festival is sure to be a day full of fun for the whole family. For $5 per child, children will be able to pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, make a Home Depot craft and participate in many other activities, including face painting, balloon animals, fall-themed games and prizes, cookie decorating and more.
The Pumpkin Festival is organized by the Cedar City Area Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business, with proceeds going toward the Women in Business scholarship fund.
Each year, Women in Business awards scholarships to women pursuing degrees at an Iron County university or college. Last year’s proceeds enabled Women in Business to award 10 scholarships totaling $9,000.
