ST. GEORGE — The Wingate by Wyndham, located at 144 W. Brigham Road in St. George, announced Monday it has been awarded the Wyndham Hotel Group Hotel of the Year for the North America Midscale Tier by Wyndham Hotel Group.
The winner of the award was decided based on quality, reviews and Wyndham Rewards enrollments. In celebration of the hotel’s achievement, Tim James, the hotel’s general manager was presented the award by Wingate by Wyndham and Wyndham Hotel Group leadership at the 2016 Wyndham Hotel Group Global Conference in Las Vegas before an audience of more than 6,000 hoteliers.
“This is a great honor for our hotel and a direct result of the hard work and dedication of our wonderful staff,” James said.
The Wingate by Wyndham property had the highest combined score for quality assurance, WynReview and Wyndham Rewards total enrollments out of all of the hotels in the midscale segment, which comprises more than 1,000 hotels.
In addition to the award for the midscale tier, the Wingate by Wyndham also won the Wingate by Wyndham Hotel of the Year 2016 and Wingate by Wyndham Best of the Best 2016.
