ST. GEORGE – A man was flown to the hospital after receiving injuries from driving his ATV off a rocky cliff Saturday.
The incident occurred in the North Fork area of Cedar Mountain in Kane County, the Kane County Sheriff’s Office said in a brief statement.
The ATV rider had gone off a 40-foot cliff, according to the statement.
Responding agencies included the Kane County Sheriff’s Office, Cedar Mountain Fire Rescue, Alton Ambulance. Classic Lifeguard medical helicopter also responded and flew the man to a hospital for additional care.
The extent of the rider’s possible injuries were not detailed, but he is he is expected to make a full recovery, according to the statement.
“Job well done to our Deputies, First Responders, EMS & Classic,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
