Aiden Andrew Nuzzo

Aiden NuzzonJune 11, 2009 — August 10, 2016

Aiden Andrew Nuzzo, age 7, passed away August 10, 2016. Aiden was born June 11, 2009, in St. George, Utah, to Celia Farr Nuzzo and Steven Andrew Nuzzo.

Aiden was mommy’s happy, hyper “little monkey.”

Aiden loved going to school. He was looking forward to it, every day. He was so smart and loved to learn. He was progressing so fast at the Summit Behavior Services with the amazing staff and teacher’s aides who were so good with him. Jerry Gardner was his favorite. Aiden looked up to him and loved him like a father.

Aiden loved going to the splash pad. It was one of his favorite places to be all summer long. He would have gone there every day if he could. He liked playing with cars, finger painting with mommy, playing in mud puddles, dirt or the sand box. Anything to get messy like little boys do. He loved the outdoors and was mommy’s little explorer.

His favorite programs to watch were, The Cat in the Hat and Curious George.

He was always connected to music if it was humming along to the song on the radio as mommy sang or at bedtime, being soothed to sleep by mommy singing to him. He was intrigued by piano, drums and the sounds of flute, violin and cello, especially when it was sleepy time. He loved all sorts of textures. He and his mommy made sensory toys together that he loved to play with and then dump out just like the little stinker he was!

His favorite color was yellow. When he and his mommy would finger paint he would always first choose yellow. That is how she knew it was his favorite color. Since he was nonverbal he knew how to show his love in his own unique way. He and his mother had their own special communication and bond that was so strong.

He lit up the room with his bright, silly, personality. He liked to be told, “You’re so funny” and had the cutest laugh. When getting ready for school he loved being called, “Handsome”. He would then smile and giggle as he knew he looked ‘handsome’ too! This would always make his mommy laugh.

He is survived by his mother, Celia Farr Nuzzo; grandfather, Dennis (Catherine) M. Farr; grandma Dorothy Moutray; aunts, Angel Nuzzo, Susannah Anderton, Maura McGraw, Angela (Jeremy) Colledge, Ashley Farr, Chelsea (Eric) Waters; uncles, Denny (Maressa) Farr, Lorin (Angie) Farr, Jesse Farr, Jace Farr, Braden Farr; cousins, Macie and Madie McGraw, Jacob and Gavin Farr, Kaelee, Seth, Ethan and Brielle Anderton, Ben, Brett, Kyler, and Kaden Farr, Morgun and Brodie Collegde, and Reuben Waters.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven A. Nuzzo and his grandmother, Melanie Farr.
