Donna Maxine Copeland 1January 11, 1937 — August 7, 2016

Donna Maxine Copeland, 79, of Santa Clara, Utah, passed away on August 7, 2016, at her home. Donna was born in Aberdeen, Idaho on January 11, 1937, to Arthur Lewis and Dorothy Eugene Galloway Abercrombie. She married Carlisle Duane Copeland and they had three children: Teresa Copeland Gardella, Brent and Shayne Copeland.

Donna worked as a Deli Manager for over 40 years at Waldbaum in New York and at Lin’s in St. George. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various callings through the years. Her talents were in decorating and cooking.

Donna loved having large family get-togethers and enjoyed cooking all their favorite dishes.

Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Duane; children Teresa Gardella and Shayne Copeland; and brothers, Maril and Gary Abercrombie.

She is survived by her son Brent Carlisle Copeland; grandchildren, Adam, Jason, Michelle, Seirra, Shelby, Gina, Liana and great-grandchildren, Ava, Leah, and Kylah.

  • Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel, 110 S. Bluff, St. George, Utah.
  • There will be a viewing Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. and also prior to services on Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
  • Additional services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016, at 11 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior to services at the Rose Davis Mortuary, 170 Idaho St., American Falls, Idaho.
  • Interment will take place in the Aberdeen Cemetery, Aberdeen, Idaho.
