MESQUITE, Nev. – The Mesquite Police is reaching out to the community and asking if anyone who believes they may be a victim of fraud to step forward.

The Police Department announced Friday that officers were actively investigating multiple crimes involving fraud and theft.

Since the investigations are ongoing the police cannot divulge specific details. However, they encourage anyone who thinks they may have recently been a victim of fraud or any other crime to contact them and file a report.

“When a member of our community is the victim of a crime, we take it seriously, and want to do our part to thoroughly investigate and solve each case,” Mesquite PD said in the brief statement issued Friday.

Anyone who is aware of a crime, or who has unfortunately been the victim of one which has not been reported, should contact the Mesquite Police Department at 702-346- 5262, or use the crime tip line at 702-346-8826.
