ST. GEORGE — A Ford SUV and a Chevrolet pickup truck collided Wednesday afternoon in St. George, disabling both vehicles.
St. George Police Officer Jamison Hale said the Ford SUV was westbound on 600 South Street and stopped at the stop sign at 200 East.
The Ford driver failed to notice the Chevrolet pickup truck owned by Scholzen Products in Hurricane, which was southbound on 200 East.
Hale said the Ford driver pulled out in front of the Chevrolet, causing the truck to T-bone the Ford.
The drivers were shaken up, but no injuries were reported. Both cars were heavily damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Hale said the driver of the Ford will be cited for failure to yield after a stop sign.
Units from the St. George Police Department, the St. George Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance responded to the scene
