Kevin Don TeaDecember 18, 1971 — May 31, 2016

Kevin Don Tea passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on May 31, 2016, after a valiant battle with cancer.  He was born December 18, 1971, to Randall M. and Lorraine Farnsworth Tea.  He was the eldest of 7 children.  He married Sydney-Lyn Ottley, June 30, 2007, in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple.

Kevin was raised in Kirtland, New Mexico, until he was a young adult.  After graduating from high school, he served a two-year mission in Iowa.  Kevin decided to attend Utah Valley State College after his mission and earned a degree in business management.

Once he finished college, he worked several types of jobs, including Home Depot, but he found his dream job when he was hired as an account manager for Color Spot Nurseries.  There he worked with his love of plants, flowers and trees.  Kevin had the best green thumb and shared his love and talents with his neighbors and friends.  Throughout his life, Kevin served selflessly and was a shining example of Christ-like love.

He is survived by his wife, Sydney-Lyn; daughters, Kaleialoha and Kauikealani of St. George, Utah; parents, Randall and Lorraine Tea, St. George, Utah; six siblings, Jody, Monique, Destiny, Cameron, Marché and Geren.  He is also survived by his grandmother, Mona Tea, Roswell, New Mexico; in-laws, Guy and Beverly Heder, St. George, Utah; and many nieces and nephews.
