IRON COUNTY — A semitractor-trailer rollover on southbound Interstate 15 at mile post 95, 13 miles south of Beaver, is causing traffic to back up for several miles.

A semi going south on I-15 carrying laundry detergent crashed at mile marker 95 and is on its side in the median. Authorities are on scene.

The rollover has caused traffic to slow to a crawl between mile posts 95-100, said Cedar City news reporter Tracie Sullivan.

According to the Utah Department of Transportation, traffic delays are in the range of 5 to 15 minutes. On a post to the UDOT website, the estimated time of clearance for the accident is 5:30 p.m.

Travelers on I-15 heading south should exercise caution and patience when approaching the scene.

Is this another wind related roll over ?
It seems there is an increasing incidence of those events .
Maybe the trucking industry needs to alter the design ( round off the tops )
To make them more aerodynamic / less boxy ?
