Robert Arnold Anderson

Robert Arnold Anderson, age 78, passed away peacefully at his home in Pine Valley, Utah, on April 17. He was born Aug. 7, 1937, to Curtis and Dorothy Anderson in Bakersfield, California. He married his sweet wife, Arleen E. Martin, on Nov. 25, 1959, in Las Vegas.

Robert was a high school graduate and attended college for a time. He served as a proud member of the U.S. Navy and worked as an aircraft engine mechanic.

He started work at San Pedro Sheet Metal in 1958 before becoming the owner in 1976, a position he held until 1991 when his son took over. He then moved to Utah to hunt and fish and enjoy life after having a massive heart attack in 1991. He was a dedicated hunter and hunted til his body wouldn’t let him anymore. Robert was also very active in the NWTF (National Wild Turkey Federation) until he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.

Robert is survived by his wife, Arleen E. Anderson; his children Art Anderson (Ingrid) of Mission Viejo, California; Carrie Anderson of Newcastle, Utah; grandkids Chris Draskovich of Rolling Hills, California; Breanne Eades (Justin) of Enoch, Utah; Erik Anderson of Mission Viejo, California; Danie Anderson of Mission Viejo, California; and his great grandsons, Braxton and Brayden Eades.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Marvin Anderson, and his great grandson Brennan Eades.

Funeral Services

  • A private family services will be held.
