ST. GEORGE — The area around Bunkerville, Nevada, was shaken by a small earthquake Saturday evening.

Measured at a magnitude of 3.7, the quake struck just after 10 p.m. MDT (9 p.m. MST and PDT) Saturday. It was located at 18.6 miles southeast of Bunkerville and 47.2 miles south-southwest of St. George. The temblor was extremely shallow at only 2.5 miles depth. The epicenter of the earthquake was in an area of the Arizona Strip just north of the Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument, located between the Grand Wash Cliffs in Arizona and the Virgin Mountains in Nevada.

Southern Utah and surrounding areas are no strangers when it comes to earthquakes. Several small quakes have struck the area recently, especially around Enterprise and northern Arizona, and significant temblors have shaken up areas such as St. George, Kanab, Enterprise and Cedar City both historically and recently.

Despite advances in knowledge and technology, predicting earthquakes remains elusive.

“It’s just not possible, given our current technology,” United States Geological Survey seismologist Chris DuRoss said in an interview earlier this year. DuRoss said the claims made by ersatz earthquake predictors are no better than random chance.

The best way to survive an earthquake is to be prepared. A good guide to preparations in case of an earthquake can be found here.

Close to Bunkerville? There is only one possible explanation!
This is a sign from the Almighty God that the Bundy family must repent and turn away from the pride of their hearts. Acknowledge your sins, Cliven! Take the beam out of thine own eye! Break the chains that bind your children and your childrens children!

Or it could be a sign to Harry Reid and his minions who are trying to take the Gold Butte area land and other lands from cattle ranchers for their personal gains and financial endeavors !! If we are going to think hypothetical, my scenario would be more logical.
