Who: Zion Lions (0-1) vs. Vegas Hawks (0-2)
What: Week 3 RMFL matchup
When: 7 p.m. tonight
Where: Dixie Sunbowl (150 S. 400 E, St. George)
Details: After a disappointing Week 1 loss to the Brigham Sting, the Lions had to sit and stew with a bye week in Week 2. Zion had five turnovers and scored just seven points in the Week 1 loss, so offense will be the key. The Hawks have also struggled to move the ball, scoring just 13 points in two close losses to start the season. last week, they were shut out by the Las Vegas Trojans, 7-0.
Players to watch: No doubt, the spotlight will be shining directly on new Lions quarterback Josh Ford, who struggled in Week 1 and was relieved in the second half by Misi Tupe. Bailey Glass was solid at receiver in Week 1, with most of the carries at running back going to Sione Tapuosi and Matt Feula. For the Hawks, Willie Brisco (#2) is the quarterback and he loves to throw it to Trey Robinson (#20). The two hooked up for 122 yards in Week 1. Running back Anthony Wilkerson (#10) averages about 50 yards a game. Robinson is also a big-play guy in the kick and punt return game.
