Zions Bank receives 31 ‘Greenwich Excellence Awards’

ST. GEORGE – Zions Bancorporation, Nasdaq:Zion, recently announced it has received 31 “Greenwich Excellence Awards” for 2015 in middle market and small business banking. This represents the highest number of awards won by any bank in the United States and the most ever received by Zions.

Last year, Zions received the second most excellence awards in the country. Out of the 31 awards they received this year, 14 were for distinction in areas of cash management, which has long been a noted strategic advantage for the company.

The Greenwich Excellence Awards are based on more than 28,000 market research interviews with small and medium-sized businesses across the country. Although hundreds of banks are evaluated each year, Zions is one of only four banks that have been consistently awarded more than 10 excellence awards annually since the first survey was conducted in 2009.

Regarding the awards, Harrison H. Simmons, chairman and CEO of Zions Bancorporation said:
