Youth rugby: Kicking up some dust under the lights

ST. GEORGE — Rugby is getting these guys hooked when they’re young.

Snow Canyon High School hosted the Southern Utah Youth Rugby Sevens matches Thursday night at the SC rugby pitch.

The event featured youth rugby players in sixth, seventh and eighth grades from the area with each of the seven teams playing three or four matches on the night.

It was also “Cuba” night as a Cuban food truck catered the event.
