Leading out the evening, Main Stage presents DJ Lex and his Amazing Steam Powered Music Machine followed by Dixie Funk Band of St. George, RKDN of Provo and headliner GoldBoot of Las Vegas.

“Town Birthday at the Tabernacle,” a live performance, will feature favorite characters from town history presenting biographical vignettes and select musical numbers in the warmth of the historic Tabernacle.

This first-of-its-kind performance celebrates the Jan. 17, 1862, incorporation of St. George City with a culmination of local tales and tributes to community founders.

A collaboration between St. George Tabernacle, St. George Live and Historic Downtown, “Town Birthday at the Tabernacle” runs 6-8:30 p.m. and is suitable for all ages. Warm-up, pop-in and come-and-go attendance is welcome, admission is free.

Zion Brewing Company Jazz Garden moves indoors this month to the Ancestor Square Tower. The venue will offer New Orleans-style jazz with Rebecca Burt of Las Vegas playing accordion, 6-8 p.m. Then from 8-10 p.m., Nick Adams and Sean Taylor bring in acoustic deep cuts reminiscent of classic rock and blues.

All ages are welcome at the Jazz Garden, with a designated level for adults 21 and over featuring services of champagne, Zion beers and selections by St. George Wine Club. Tapas service this month is by Painted Pony with specialty sodas by Springdale’s Café Soleil. Jazz Garden attendees dressed to the masquerade theme will qualify for entry to win prizes and gift certificates to Historic Downtown Restaurants.

Additional efforts to keep crowds warm include placement of fire barrels on Main Street by St. George City Fire Department and an enclosed and heated George free Photo Booth near Main Stage.
