Gov. Herbert orders flags lowered for victims of Paris attacks

SALT LAKE CITY — Gov. Gary R. Herbert announced Sunday he is authorizing the lowering of the flag of the United States of America and the flag of the State of Utah to honor the victims of the terrorist attack in Paris, France.

Gov. Herbert issued the following statement:

Jeanette and I express our deepest sympathies to the victims in Paris and to all those who will feel the pain and loss from this tragedy for years to come. Through this small gesture, Utahns from across the state demonstrate that our hearts are united in support of the nation of France during this difficult time.

The flags will be flown at half-staff beginning immediately until sunset Thursday.

it’s a hard lesson to learn about how bad muslims are and religious fanatics in general, but to be fair it could of been a lot worse. hopefully old obama doesn’t try to bring any of those muslim refugees in here to the usa, bc muslims are nothing but trouble…

Note to Herbert: All flagpoles in Utah should have a clearly marked “Muslim Atrocity” setting for future use.
