In one of the spots, Paul and Grady visit a public site where rock art can be viewed. The Bureau of Land Management urges respect for rock art, its St. George Field Office Outdoor Recreation Planner David Kiel said, explaining:

There are two things that should never be done with rock art: 1) walk or sit on it, and 2) touch it. Walking and sitting can do physical damage and touching it can transfer oil from your skin which can cause physical damage.

UPDATED Nov. 16 to include admonitions regarding rock art.

No filter boys use hyperbole, Bender. I expect this is one of those cases.

Walking all over the Petroglyphs shows total disrespect for the beautiful works of art created so long ago.

I thought the same thing! This showed how NOT to behave around our historic treasures. Please look, but don’t touch!

We knew right where the spot was. Got there but someone had already got the quarter. Sad part was that the guys from the show had left all their Maverik garbage…not cool guys!

Nope, Karma, not Paul and Grady’s litter. There was a lot there, they said. They and St. George News support the maxim, take only photos, leave only footprints – and variations thereof. 🙂

JK-EIC, can you verify if someone actually found the $100.00 “No Filter” quarter? Just like the Broncos, they really want their “Quarterback”!

    • Joyce Kuzmanic Joyce Kuzmanic November 17, 2015 at 10:26 pm

They did – and we have them on video on Facebook – will be adding as an update to this post soon. I’ll reply again when that is done which should notify you. A dad and his boys found it. 😀
      Thanks for asking, Dark M
