Shirley Riches Johnson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Friday, October 23, 2015, at the age of 84.
She grew up in Nephi, Utah. Following her marriage to C. Foster Johnson they lived in Spanish Fork, South Jordan and St. George.
She is survived by her husband and three of their four children: Toni Johnson MacAskill (Chris), Marna Johnson Kimball (David) and Scott Johnson (Debbie); daughter-in-law Deb Johnson. She also raised two of her grandchildren, Adrian Vanderhoof (Colton) and Avery Kimball. She has four other grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by their son, Curtis Johnson.
She was very active in the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She was always friendly and helpful to everyone she met.
Funeral Services
- Graveside services will be Monday, Oct. 26, 11 a.m. at the Tonaquint Cemetery, St. George.
- A visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 25 from 6-8 p.m. in the Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff Street, St. George.
