UPDATE: Cause of death released for woman found in DRMC parking lot

ST. GEORGE — A California woman who was found dead in her car died of natural causes, authorities said.

Donna Faulkner, 49, of Barstow, California, was discovered dead in her car at Dixie Regional Medical Center Oct. 7 by St. George police. An autopsy was performed on the woman’s body and the medical examiner determined that Faulkner died of natural causes, St. George Police Sgt. Sam Despain said.

There was no evidence of  foul play or suspicious circumstances in Faulkner’s death, Despain said.

Faulkner’s body was discovered when hospital security staff were notified of an unresponsive woman in a car in the hospital parking lot. Despain said it appears as if Faulkner drove herself to the hospital for tests, but died in her car before she could make it into the medical center.

This report is based on preliminary information provided by law enforcement or other emergency responders and may not contain the full scope of findings.

If you die of natural causes. That means you didn’t die from getting shot. or being in a train wreck. or going up in a ball of flames in a Boeing 747 as it gets shot down by a Russian S A M
