Verle LaVern Barrow, 79, passed away at the Dixie Regional Hospital on August 24, 2015. He was born in Ogden, Utah, on April 13, 1936. The son of LaVern W. and Ruth B. Barrow. He was married to Margaret A. Empey on August 14, 1965. They were sealed in the Ogden Temple on October 1, 1974.
Verle was raised in West Warren, where he was active in musical programs and plays. He served in the Army for 2 years, most of the time in England and Germany. He worked at HAFB in the computer department, prior to opening Five Points Travel agency. He retired in 2000.
He is survived by his wife Margaret, a son, Sean L. (Amanda) Barrow of Mt. Orab, Ohio, a daughter, Amy Miles of Washington, Utah, and four grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters. Joan Davis and Deborah Barrow. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas Barrow.
Funeral Services
- A visitation will be Friday, Aug. 28, 6:30-8 p.m. in the West Warren Chapel, 856 North 5900 West Warren.
- A graveside service will be Saturday, 11 a.m. at the West Warren Cemetery.
