Intermountain clinics introduce new oncologist, dermatologist

ST. GEORGE — Zachary Reese, oncologist/hematologist, and Marie Tuttle, dermatologist, have joined Intermountain clinics in St. George and began practicing Monday.

Reese is now seeing patients at Intermountain Southwest Regional Cancer Clinic, 544 S. 400 East, and Tuttle is now seeing patients at Intermountain Southern Utah Plastic Surgery and Dermatology, 652 S. Medical Center Drive, Suite 300.

About Dr. Reese

A native of Cottonwood Heights, Reese earned a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a medical degree from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York. He completed an internal medicine internship/residency at the University of Colorado, Denver, in Aurora, Colorado, followed by a hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Utah.

Reese is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. As an oncologist, he is dedicated to the diagnosis, care and treatment of adult patients with cancer and bloodborne malignancies and has a special interest in the treatment of lymphomas, according to a press release.

About Dr. Tuttle

A native of Richfield, Tuttle earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She completed her medical internship with Intermountain Healthcare’s transitional year residency, then specialized in dermatology with Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals’ department of dermatology in Cleveland, Ohio.

Tuttle then completed a fellowship in wound healing and dermatology research, obtained a master’s degree in clinical research and joined the faculty with dual research and clinical appointments with Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals. She also served as assistant chief of dermatology at the Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Tuttle is excited to return to beautiful Southern Utah, according to a press release from Intermountain, and is dedicated to providing the best dermatological care to the community.
