SALT LAKE CITY — Gov. Gary R. Herbert has authorized the lowering of the flags in Utah in honor of President Abraham Lincoln.
A proclamation entitled, “Day of Remembrance for President Abraham Lincoln” directs the flags to be lowered to half-staff on Wednesday.
The flags will be flown at half-staff at all state facilities from sunrise through sunset on Wednesday.
