Dean Campbell Barber, 84, passed away on January 20, 2015, in Henderson, Nevada. Born December 3, 1930, to Frank Webb Barber and Doris Campbell Barber in Hurricane, Utah. Dean attended Hurricane High School and served our country in the Korean War. Dean married Charleen Holyoak in 1965. Dean worked in Tonopah for many years before retiring to enjoy his hobbies of hunting and watching over his many grandchildren. Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Webb & Doris Barber and his beautiful wife Charleen.
He is survived by his loving children: Lori, Marilee, Greg, Jeff, Lisa, Chad; many beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services
- Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 31, at 11:30 a.m. at the Hurricane City Cemetery.
- A viewing will be held Saturday, from 10:30-11:15 a.m. prior to services at Metcalf Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 North Main Street, Hurricane, Utah.
- Friends and family are invited to the American Legion Hall for a luncheon following services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Metcalf Mortuary.
