I am honored to show my support for our men and women in uniform by voting for the NDAA at a time when they need our support the most. This legislative package also includes important local land-use conveyances that will benefit Utah, including the Y Mountain Trail and Y Conveyance Act, which I sponsored with Rep. Chaffetz, and the Fruit Heights Land Conveyance Act, which I sponsored with Rep. Bishop. I thank both of my Utah colleagues for their leadership in chipping away at the inventory of federal lands in Utah. This NDAA bill was far from perfect. I look forward to next year, when the Senate’s Democratic leadership will no longer have the ability to force votes on massive measures at the last moment, giving the Senate little choice. My Republican colleagues and I are determined to restore regular order to the Senate.
Submitted by the Offices of Sen. Orrin Hatch

What a loser
Hatch wants to go back to the good ol’ days of bush/cheney.
You mean the real good ol’ days of Eisenhower/Nixon, when he was first elected
I agree Hatch needs to retire. But exactly what does the way Hatch votes have to do with Bush/Cheney!!!??? You sound just like the current administration 🙂
Hatch just introduced the SCRUB Act. Now he mentions Bishop and Chaffetz. It would have been more suitable to mention them in SCRUB Act, such as SCRUBing half the nonsense they put out, the kind of stuff that shuts down governments.
Oh I agree It’s time for Hatch to go. But again, the question was what does it have to do with Bush/cheney? How is anything that ANY politician doing today and what they are voting on today have anything to do with the last administration?
Don’t you miss the good ol’ days of Bush/Cheney?
Well I know you guys all love the Obama administration. Something for nothing right? So in comparison, yeah I do miss the Bush/cheney administration. Are you better off now than you were six years ago? Not too many people in this country are. And we are a whole lot less protected by our decimated military than we ever have been. But just keep bowing to the liberal agenda and blaming the currant problems of the country on people who have nothing to do with it. Always somebody else’s fault, that’s what the left always says. Not us!
As a “liberal” I’m not a fan of Obama at all. Mainly because he’s a wall-street, big bank establishment politician, and about everything he does reflects that. I’m not a fan of his overly liberalized social agendas either namely the gay agenda. Bush/Cheney crew screwed up the US economy the worst we’ve seen since the 30’s depression. Obama’s failure is mainly that is policies are so similar to the failed Bush reign. And that’s probably because the same old tyrants are running the whole setup behind the scenes…
anyways, forgive the long comment as i know it will fall on deaf ears of the foxnews faithful… merry xmas 🙂
Look out, EPA, here they come.
