ST GEORGE – The Gingerbread Tour Grand Finale Celebration was full of holiday cheer Friday evening.
The mayor’s annual switching-on of downtown St. George’s holiday lights kicked off the event, as Bloomington Hills Elementary School’s choir welcomed Santa Claus to the stage with a song.
Main Street was full of hundreds of participants casting their votes on their favorite gingerbread houses. Several businesses and vendors participated in the festive activities by serving free refreshments to all in attendance. Art on Main’s Gallery Stroll also took place, as well as the Downtown Farmer’s Market at Ancestor Square.
For those of you who weren’t able to attend, we have a full video recap of the evening – including the reveal of the 2014 Gingerbread Tour Winner. Enjoy!
