Dixie State made the tournament last year after a 17-9 regular season, and improved in 2014 with a 20-8 record, including a 17-3 mark in the Pacific West Conference. DSU finished as the runner-up to the PacWest title to BYU-Hawaii, who took the league’s automatic bid and earned a 5-seed. The seeding sets up a potential second-round matchup between Dixie State and the Seasiders.

Eight eight-team regionals will be played at on-campus sites. Regional competition will be single-elimination, best three-of-five-set matches and will not include a third-place match. The winners of each of the eight regionals will advance to the finals, December 4-6, at Knights Hall in Louisville, Kentucky. Competition at the finals site will be single-elimination; best three-of-five-set matches.

Match times, details and broadcast plans will be announced shortly.
