After a great response and 200 volunteers at the cleanup efforts at the Boilers, many even asked when it would be happening again. This Saturday is an opportunity to gather as a community again and make a big difference.

The efforts will start working on the bottom 12 acres of Millcreek to clean up trash and remove debris, especially after the late summer flooding. There will also be a chance to highlight some of the features of the canyon and do a little exploring as well. Please RSVP by email to ensure an accurate head count.

Because this is a much bigger area to cover than the Boilers, the extra hands and help are needed with set-up and sector management. It is recommended to come at 8:20 a.m. to get oriented and help assist in making Saturday run more smoothly.

Wear your Save the Boilers T-shirt if you have one. If you came to the last clean-up day and haven’t picked up your shirt, this will be one of the last chances to do so. T-shirts will also be available for purchase for $8 on Saturday.

Meet at the mouth of Millcreek Canyon on Buena Vist Blvd, kitty-corner from the Great Harvest Christian Assembly and just below the new Kawasaki Dealership. There will be parking on the street and people directing places to park at the top of the hill as well.
