It is with tremendous grief and sadness that the loved ones of Adele Faith Dowan-Flores (Hapan ImKah mKah wowapi yawa win) announce her passing on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.
Born on March 16, 1959, in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, Adele passed peacefully with members of her family by her side in St. George, Utah.
Adele is predeceased by her grandparents, Demas and Bessie Down; her brother Stephen Pemell Pratt and her children Timothy Bradley and Alexi Rae.
She is survived by her husband, Mario Flores; her children Chrystal Joy, Charity Rose and Michael Anthony Scott, as well as several others she “adopted” as her own. Adele was affectionately known as “mama” to many she opened her heart to: Her grandchildren, Courtney, ELisia, Kate-Lynn, Dacovney, Christopher and Jaxon as well as her great-grandchild, Aria, who she referred to as “GG”; her mother, Doris Pratt and her siblings, Marilyn, Evelyn, David and Alex.
Funeral Services
- Memorial services will be held Thursday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. in the Heritage LDS Chapel, 260 East 1060 South, Ivins, Utah.
