ST. GEORGE — A three-vehicle collision briefly blocked eastbound traffic Saturday morning at the intersection of St. George Boulevard and 1000 East.

Just before 10:30 a.m., a white truck was traveling eastbound on St. George Boulevard followed by a gold Cadillac SUV and a blue Ford F-150. Traffic slowed down in front of the white truck in the intersection, which caused the driver to slow to a stop.

The SUV stopped behind the truck, but the man driving the F-150 did not see that traffic had slowed and rammed into the back of the SUV, which pushed the SUV forward into the white truck, St. George Police Officer Hector Dominguez said.

The St. George Fire Department, St. George Police and Gold Cross Ambulance responded to the scene. St. George Police blocked one lane of travel so that all three vehicles could drive out of the road and into the Conoco gas station parking lot, located at 995 E. St. George Blvd.

The driver of the F-150 was cited for following too closely and the gold SUV was towed, Dominguez said.

This report is based on preliminary information provided by responders on scene and may not contain the full scope of findings.

Remember in the driver’s education manual where it says safe following distance is actually 3 inches?

When you hear glass and plastic breaking, you’re following too close

You and Koolaid are either 2 peas in a pod, or you are starving for attention so badly that you are compelled to post a response to your own first post. Either way, you should have a meeting of the minds and consolidate your powers so that you can become PESSIMIST PRIME.

I’m not surprised in the least if it’s the same person, if you ask me.

Sorry to disappoint you, but we’re not the same person posting under two names. In fact, there are other people posting similar comments. Aside from finding humor in them, I think it’s great that not everyone here acts and talks like another sheeple clone.

As with most major streets in town, the speed limit is usually ignored.
PS It is 30 mph on the Blvd! I’d bet that the normal speed averages 40 to 45.

, Not only that but they speed while simultaneously talking on their cell phones, putting on makeup, eating, reading the Book of Moron and calming the six kids they are hauling in the back of their overpriced SUV that sports those idiotic “look at the size of my fascist family” stickers on the back window. 🙂 Then when they get cause an accident they blame the government and/or a “lapse in memory” and get a fundraiser to help them recover from their “pain”.

I couldn’t of wrote it better myself, except I probably would of put a little more emphasis on the part about the cell phone.
I have never seen so many people in my life driving un safe and holding a cell phone in my hand, as Saint George Utah, Do these people really need to read their text or talk on the cell phones, is it really that important,
I think if they got rid of their cell phone plans, that money would be much better off in a ira retirement plan and then they wouldn’t have to be making all the phone calls trying to borrow money.
