SNOWFIELD – Northbound traffic has been slowed and diverted to the shoulder of Interstate 15, just north of the Snowfield exit at about mile marker 34, after a motorhome that was traveling northbound caught fire.
Utah Highway Patrol, Washington County Sheriff’s deputies and Leeds Fire and Rescue are on scene battling the blaze as of 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Propane tanks and other debris have been exploding from the fire-engulfed wreckage of the vehicle.
At the time of this publication the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
