Pine View 41, Lehi 7
ST. GEORGE — Blake Ence forced two fumbles and had 122 yards receiving as the Panthers dominated the Pioneers Friday night.
PV led 7-0 in the first quarter when Ence stripped the ball out of LHS star running back Caden Calton’s hands inside the 2-yard line, then he did it again in the second quarter near midfield. The takeaways helped the Panthers to a 21-0 halftime lead and PV never looked back.
Kody Wilstead passed for 368 yards and 4 TDs and Pan Tiatia rushed for 155 yards as the Panthers had 549 yards of offense in the game.
PV, 2-1, hosts Snow Canyon in the region opener next Friday. The Pioneers are 0-3.
